MMHE-ATB Sdn. Bhd. is a joint venture between Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE – 60%) and ATB Riva Calzoni (ATB – 40%) of Italy. The joint venture is to tap the synergy and benefits arising from the combined strengths of two established partners.
ATB Riva Calzoni is a leading internationally recognized manufacturer of sophisticated pressure vessels and other thick-wall equipment that are characterized by stringent requirements to meet extreme pressure and temperature services and handling of corrosive products.
The JV Company concentrates its activities mainly in the manufacturing of process equipment for the oil & gas and the petrochemical industries. With ATB Riva Calzoni’s manufacturing technology and know-how, the joint venture is also looking for opportunities beyond the oil & gas and petrochemical sector such as the hydroelectric power and steel industries.
ATB Riva Calzoni brings to the joint venture its advanced technology and over 70 years’ experience in this very specialized area of manufacturing sophisticated equipment which includes engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of process equipment for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air fin coolers and skids; Hydroelectric plants: pen stocks, valves and gates and other industries such as steel mill converters, subsea equipments and offshore platform components.
